Watch the museum’s first virtual gala from the comfort of your home.
The Wadsworth is a special place filled with stories that open our imagination to the past and the endless opportunities awaiting in the future. This exciting hour-long program will celebrate the museum’s impact in the community, its rich history of ground-breaking exhibitions and provide a sneak preview of what we have planned for the coming year. Special guests include Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution Lonnie G. Bunch III, Director of the National Gallery, London Dr. Gabriele Finaldi, and artists Ali Banisadr, Todd Gray, Ed Johnetta Miller, and James Prosek.
All donations support the general operations of the museum.

A pre-show presentation with music by Acute Inflections will begin at 6:45pm and Mill Restaurant Group mixologist Justin Gavry will demonstrate how to craft the ART-tini, a cocktail created for tonight’s event.
ART-tini Recipe
2.5 oz. Breckenridge Pear Vodka
.75 oz. Lavender Chamomile Honey Syrup
Fresh lemon juice
Fill a shaker with ice, pour in vodka, syrup and squeeze fresh lemon into the shaker.
Shake well, strain and enjoy!
To make the Chamomile syrup
1 cup water
1 cup of sugar
1/4 honey
1 cup dried chamomile blossoms or pure loose leaf chamomile tea
3 tablespoons of lavender flowers, loose or fresh
Heat water in a pot, add ingredients & simmer until reduced by half. Let cool and strain. Once bottled, it will store in the fridge for a few weeks.
